Manual Mailing List Instructions

To subscribe to a mailing list, please send a mail with the following mail body (not the subject) to the automated “controller” address:

subscribe Your-First-Name Your-Last-Name

e.g.

subscribe John Doe

For the Ruby-Talk list, the controller address is [email protected], the posting address is [email protected], and the human administrator address is [email protected].

Ruby-Core

For the Ruby-Core list, the controller address is [email protected], the posting address is [email protected], and the “human” administrator address is [email protected].

Ruby-Doc

For the Ruby-Doc list, the controller address is [email protected], the posting address is [email protected], and the “human” administrator address is [email protected].

Ruby-CVS

For the Ruby-CVS list, the controller address is [email protected], the posting address is [email protected], and the “human” administrator address is [email protected].

Unsubscribing

To unsubscribe from a list, send a mail which body is “unsubscribe” to the controller address.

To see the list of commands, send a mail which body is “help” to the controller address.
